Data Portraits in Paris 1900 - Digital Cross Stitch Pattern

At the 1900 Paris World Fair, a set of hand-drawn charts, graphs, and diagrams debuted that captured the African American experience for the world's eyes. These bold, eye-catching infographics were the brainchild of W.E.B. Du Bois, noted American sociologist, historian, civil-rights activist, Pan-Africanist, author, and editor. This stitch features a collage of my interpretations of the infographics, paying homage to his work and the sheer fact that this data exists.
